Hanoi is considered to be modern but classic city with unique beauty and in this city you will find the most memorable moments with many beautiful locations and relics offering great chance for travellers who want to know more about the tradition, history and art of Vietnam. After that we will explore Hoa Lu, a historical place associated with an important timeline in the history of Vietnam and enjoy the beauty of Tam Coc with the green fields and light peaceful blue of the sky explain its name “Halong Bay on the rice field”. And then we will continue the journey to Halong Bay, which offers the best scenes and fresh air for any visitors with various activities and the breath-taking landscapes which made it one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Upon arrival in the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by Vietnam Land Tour’s guide and taken to the hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour ( Meal: Breakfast, Lunch )
Today you will spend all day to explore the city. The first place of the city tour today is Ho Chi Minh Complex– an important historical attraction in Hanoi; Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt house where the leader Ho Chi Minh spent the last part of his life, the Presidential palace and Ho Chi Minh Museum. After that, we continue to move to Temple of Literature which reveals the Hanoians’ spirit of study in the past. This was also the first university in Vietnam.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch we drive to visit to the Museum of Ethnology– the largest and most interesting museums in Hanoi where artifacts about 54 ethnic groups are well displayed. Despite being out of the way compared with other museums in Hanoi, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is worth a thorough visit, for those who are keen to learn about the multiculturalism of Vietnam and for those who would appreciate some green space. Get back to the heart of Hanoi to see Ngoc Son Temple located in the middle of HoanKiem Lake- the picturesque heart of Hanoi.
Enjoy a water puppet show before coming back to your hotel. Dinner is on your own arrangement.
Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi ( Meal: Breakfast, Lunch )
8:00AM, pick up at your hotel and head out for NinhBinh (2 hours driving). There is a beautiful roadside scenery on the way. Arriving in NinhBinh city, first pay a visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam, visit the two temples: Temple of King Dinh and King Le, admire the unique architecture from ancient times.
Continue to Tam Coc and have lunch at a nice restaurant with many local delicacies. Then boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (2.5 hour boat trip). Tam Coc is also known as Halong Bay on land. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, a very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.
Next stop is visit Bich Dong Pagoda nearby and climb up the mountain to have a wonderful perspective view of the Bich Dong and Tam Coc. Return to Hanoi late afternoon.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay ( Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
Reaching Hanoi in the early morning, you will be picked up from the train station to a day use hotel for breakfast and relax before heading to Halong. After taking about 2 hour rest, about 8:00AM, the transfer car will pick you up then starting the 3 and a half hours drive to Halong Bay
Set off your 3.5hours drive to Halong Bay.
The scenic drive will take you through beautiful scenery with some stops and coffee breaks along the way. Upon arriving at the pier of Halong, you will embark on a wooden junk for a cruise on the bay. Take your time to immerse into the fresh air and watch the scenery goes by. Enjoy a delightful lunch on board as the ship sails through various islands and limestone karst. Afterwards, take a fresh swim and explore some of the limestone caves in the region. As the sun starts to set, the ship will cruise to a nearby island for the night.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Try to get up early in this morning to soak up into the tranquil atmosphere of the bay at sunrise. Enjoy breakfast on board as the ship sails through the bay for an exploration of more remote areas. Around midday, back to the vessel and return to the main wharf for a transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi Departure ( Breakfast )
Today is free at your leisure for shopping and exploring in the Old Quarter. After that you will get to the airport (without guide) for your departure flight.

First Class = 3 star hotels from US$ 40 – US$ 60 per room/night
Superior = 4 star hotels from US$ 80 – US$ 110 per room/night
Deluxe = 5 star hotels from US$120 – US$ 180++ per room/night

Deposit & Balance Payments
A deposit which is equal to 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The full or final payment is required 7 days before departure for your Tour to Vietnam, Laos, or Cambodia. If final payments are not received on time, we may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

6 . Isn’t it easier and cheaper to arrange the holiday myself?

For example, if the flight that we’ve booked is delayed, it’s down to us to re-arrange your travel in the country.
